Yes, there were zoning debates when Hardin Valley was opening, so I bet that is why you mix the two of them up.

Halls has pretty decent schools, but I always feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere when I'm out there. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's not particularly easy to get to, say downtown, etc. from there. It's a drive from almost all areas of Halls and the highways. Lots of traffic lights in-between, too.

Thank you so much to everyone! We are driving up at Christmas and staying a week in the area to get a better feel...then home to list the house and pack up and hopefully making Tennessee our permanent home this summer! Very excited about all of this.

Actually you have it reversed... Hardin Valley uses Karns middle school. At least until they finish building the middle school in Hardin valley. We live in Hardin Valley and they had to bus the middle schoolers all the way to Karns for middle school. Karns has all its own schools from elementary to high school.
