Hello,
My wife and i are coming to Tennessee in November, so that we can see lake front properties/communities. We have arranged to view the Wind River property, but would also like other alternatives. I am aware of Tellico Village and Rarity Bay in this area but wonder if there are others in the Eastern part of TN, that i have not discovered via my internet searches. Thank you in advance for your recommendations.
Kind regards!

Jackson Bend and Lashbrook are two upscale subdivisions in Louisville with beautiful lake fronts and dockable properties. There are also several lake front lots on Cherokee Lake (like Grainger Landing) and Douglas Lake (Emerald Pointe, etc), but always do your homework on which lots have water year-round.

Are you looking specifically for upscale or "designer" communities like Rarity Bay, Wind River, Tellico Village, and Tennessee National?

If you are looking for lake / water front, you can simply google the Tennessee (and Little Tennessee) River and their various impoundments (Watts Bar Lake, Tellico Lake, etc) and see what communities border it. You may be looking for towns like Vonore, Concord, Knoxville, Greenback, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge, and many others. Use City-Data to view those towns and cities for the data you are interested in (mean average income, population density, job market, hospital services, school quality, etc) and then contact an experience knowledgeable real estate agent in those areas.

That's my suggestion, anyhow. Your request is a bit broad without knowing more of that which you seek.
