Default Stay tuned

Yankee Senior, keep reading this thread for information on the August get-together. We enjoyed great conversations at the July event.

Default I agree

Yankee Senior, I agree, its hard because it seems most people have already got their circle of friends and family but thanks to this board I have met some wonderful people. I am also a Senior and have lived here for 10 mths coming from Florida. We had a great get together this month and will have another one the first Sat of Aug if it works out for everyone, we meet at Shoneys on Chapman Highway at 11:30. We will post more on it as time gets closer. If you want to try and meet sometime DM me, I live in Seymour, where are you??

Smile You are already fitting right in - friendly and welcoming just like the rest of E. TN.

It is so nice to see that this group is still going strong. Order me up a cup of hot tea and a scrambled egg. Just save it until next month when DH and I get up. I sure hope we can meet up with everyone.

It sounds like all of you have really hit it off just great. Being newcomers, one and all, you have a lot in common right from the start. I bet you are helping one another quite a bit with great shops, fun venues and the best routes that you have each come up with.

Hi Gem, yes, the group is going good and we have helped, my DH gave Suzanne and new route from Maryville to Chapman Highway which she was quite impressed with, Hik's hubby looked at one members car, I have met on a few occasions with some of the people I have met, we had a cookout, two have come to my house for lunch and I also have had lunch with Suzanne and her DH and plan to see them once more before they leave to go back to Fl, so all in all I would say these get togethers have been successful. And we all got to meet Hiknapster

OH, YES, we will save you a seat for next meeting and we will toast a cup of coffee to you Saturday
