Just got back. The Raceway in Solway was 3.43 and the Exxon across the street was 3.45. Back in Murvil now and it is 3.48 or 3.49 most places.

That's ugly. What do you drive? By my math, you got less than 9 miles per gallon.

We're on the way to Murfreesboro to go pack up son's dorm room and haul the stuff back to Maryville. We seriously thought about telling him to load what he could in his car and leave the rest (giveaway) as it just didn't pay us in gas to make the trip.

Cookeville is at $3.399 today. Makes me mad for our 10 cent higher price in Knoxville!

Hi,
We're in Severn. Harford county? It's beautiful over there.

Yes, all said and done it was just under 10 MPG. I was driving a 3/4 ton GMC towing a 20' camping trailer. Made this same trip in September 07 with the same truck hauling a 16' trailer loaded down with wood from Mothers two porches (I moved here back here from Southern IL, lock, stock and the kitchen sink) and the back of the truck full, cost me just over $100.00. Huge difference.
