Hi All,
Well I have found a house and began the process of buying it and was hoping to get some more detail on the area from all the great folks here on this forum. The address is Knoxville city and the zip code is 37912. I am already looking into the schools zoned for this location and setting up appointments to go at meet the staff and tour the schools, so I should get a much better understanding of the school situation over the next couple of weeks. The schools are Norwood Elementary, Northwest Middle, and Powell High. I have already done quite a bit of looking into Northwest and now it has had issues in the past, but seems to have turned the corner for the better over the last couple years. So anyway I will stop rambling and just ask for any and all inputs on the area, and of course thank you all in advance.

Our friend used to live on Callahan; we visited several times and thought the area, especially as you go out into the subdivisions, was nice and the neighborhoods seem homey. (as opposed to homie lol)
