I have been craving Sabrett's Hot Dogs. Had them all the time when I was serving time, er, I mean living in Pittsburgh. They are DELICIOUS hot dogs. I can order them online and fulfill the desire; just wondering if they are for sale here locally (either to take home to cook or to consume immediately)? Thanks.

I have several packages of Sabrett's in my fridge right now. I know that I got them at Ingle's, but I thought that I have seen them all over! I am probably wrong though.

We only eat Sabrett's, Nathan's, Hebrew National, Dietz and Watson and Vienna (that I have not found around here).

Sabrett's are great!

You want the hot dogs still in the casing, right? Because Nathan's makes skinless ones, too, and you see those all over here. I know, I like the ones in the casing better, too.

I haven't seen Sabrett here and I didn't see them in Maryland, either. We used to buy 3 pounds from the LI outlet that sold them to hot dog vendors, when I lived on LI. You couldn't buy less than 3 pounds.

I think I bought Dietz and Watson in Kroger. They're in the Deli section not on the shelf with all of the skinless hot dogs but they don't have them every time I go in. If you go in Kroger's, ask at the deli.

Yes, the casing ones. I will call Ingle's. We don't have an Ingle's in Maryville but will check the Farragut and Lenoir City stores. Thanks for the tips!

No casings on the one's from Ingle's. The only kind of hot dogs I can find with the snap are the Dietz and Watson. They are at Ingle's, too.

I picked up 2 packages of Boar's Head hot dogs at Kroger. I got both the skinless and the casings on. I'll report back.

I love Boar's Head meats, so I hope you enjoy your purchase. Thanks for finding the brand at Kroger's and letting us know where to purchase. Do you know if Kroger's carries the BH line of cheeses and sliced meats?

Krogers carries Boar's Head.

I shop in Krogers less frequently than Food City but they do carry Boar's Head sliced meat at the deli and it is Boar's Head hot dogs not Dietz and Watson.

I bought Boar's Head cheese today at Kroger as well. They have a variety of cheeses, bratwursts, etc. A very nice selection of items in the cases in front of the deli. I went to the Kroger in Maryville in between Target and Aubrey's. I didn't look at the meat in the full service deli case. I love the Boar's Head Havarti with Dill cheese. I bought some different cheese today that I have never tried before. DH has the grill going. He is having a steak and he doesn't want to try a hot dog. By the way, we absolutely LOVE the Regas Restaurant Au Natural Pure Seasoning for our steaks. OMGosh, it is soooo good! I have found it at Food City, Kroger's, our small produce stand, etc.

Thanks, SMG!

I didn't know Kroger's carried Boar's Head! That's what we use to buy at Publix! When we move, we will be smack dab in the middle of two Kroger's. Yippee!

That Ingle's on Cedar Lane isn't as good as the one in Powell, so I will probably go to Kroger's. It looks like there may be a nice Food City on Broadway in Fountain City, too.

It's fun exploring new places, isn't it?
