I am looking for the most cost efficient way of getting cable television. No, I don't want to use Hulu, etc. I am looking at Comcast, Dish, DirectTV, etc.

I'm not going with Knology, because I currently have them and their price is way too high. I have haggled with them to try and get the price lower, but they won't give me a deal. Dish seems to have the best price, but is their service good, is their signal strong?

Thanks, folks.

Just to update everyone, I am sticking with Knology. I have have NO problems with their service and they were able to give me a special deal for being a loyal customer. DirectTV seems to be a bunch of con artists because they NEEDED my social security number in order to give me a price quote and needed my credit card to charge me for my TV service before they could even quote me Internet service. Dish Network were great people. Very nice and not pushy at all like the DirectTV folks. But I decided after getting the special deal through Knology, that I would stick with what is tried and true for me.

How much are you paying for Knology and what is included in your package?

seriously, none are worth it. If they allowed a-la-carte I would get cable, but I don't appreciate paying full price for something and only using 5% of it and only 5% of the time. In my area of e knoxville comcast is the only cable option and we all know how wonderful they are
