Need fast help! Through Knoxville I-40 construction (Alcoa, Lexington: estimated, distance)

Hello, I'm in need of directions around the knoxville I-40 construction zone. I need to get from UT hospital tomorrow (actually today, Tuesday) to Dandridge and I know nothing AT ALL about either area! I pulled up a map on mapquest and it looks as if their directions from UT to Dandridge goes directly through the consrtuction zone! (I despise heavy traffic and confusing roads so I'm almost hyperventilalting here!) -LOL- Please help. I need very specific directions ASAP. Before 9 am on Tues (the 20th) if at ALL possible.

P.S. Here are the directions given by Mapquest: (I THINK what I've highlighted in red is the construction zone) - ?
Directions from UT Hospital (1924 Alcoa Highway Knoxville, TN 37920) to DANDRIDGE TN
1: Start out going NORTH on ALCOA HWY toward CHEROKEE TRL. 2.1 mi
2: Merge onto I-40 E toward I-275 N/ASHEVILLE/LEXINGTON. 1.8 mi
3: Merge onto TN-158 W/JAMES WHITE PKWY via EXIT 388A. 0.4 mi
4: Take the SUMMIT HILL DR exit. 0.2 mi
5: Turn LEFT onto SUMMIT HILL DR SE. 0.1 mi
6: Turn LEFT onto HALL OF FAME DR SE. 0.9 mi
7: Merge onto I-40 E. 26.1 mi
8: Merge onto US-25W/US-70/TN-9 via EXIT 415 toward DANDRIDGE. 3.2 mi
9: Turn RIGHT onto US-25W S/US-70 E/ASHEVILLE HWY/TN-9 S/TN-92 S Continue to follow US-25W S/US-70 E/TN-9 S/TN-92 S. 0.6 mi

When you leave the UT hospital head north back into Knoxville. Immediately after you cross the river, take the first exit (Neyland Drive). At the bottom of the exit, turn left.

Stay on Neyland Drive. It will eventually merge with James White Parkway as it loops around downtown. Then follow the signs to I-40 East. And, voila!

I think you need to work for Mapquest, and have them use a "Keep It Simple" tab.

LOL. I agree William! Mapquest is also wrong more than half the time on their directions. That's why I was hoping for a REAL person's help.
