Hey everyone. Just read the posts following my last one. Thanks for all of the info. After reading what everyone wrote (and having thought about it over the weekend), I am thinking that living in W. Knox., paying higher rent, and subjecting myself to over 100 miles driving every day is probably not the way to go. I would be shrinking the amount of free time for myself by two or more hours every day and incurring additional expense needlessly. I am going to check out all of the small towns I see on the map between Knoxville and Spring City, particularly the ones mentioned in the posts above. Piedmont, I would welcome the change from this part of the country to Tn. The thought of people who say hello, make eye-contact, and chat with strangers, and a friendly, laid-back environment would be very refreshing to me.
