I didn't watch it, but my husband said that the cop was good and a girlfriend said that the gal from Vonore was more like Dolly Parton than Dolly Parton. I don't think she met she looked like her but that she was real old-school country.

The Vonore girl is OLD SCHOOL country. Like, I didn't even know people had that accent anymore. I love it, reminds me of my family especially the older generations that've passed on.

That girl from Vonore was so excited! She was going on an "areeo plane", a "real areeo plane" and was going to eat peanuts and everything. That is what she said and was the happiest about when they told her she was going through to the next round. I was so thrilled for that little girl!
Her accent was so deep and she did have that true Patsy Cline voice. Her Mother was just beside herself. I hope Hollywood doesn't corrupt/change her sweetness.
The Cop was really good too. So far a good representation of TN this season I think.
( But I have a feeling we may have to move this thread to the TV sub forum soon.
