I'm coming to Knoxville to visit my baby girl Easter weekend. What are the best places to consider for a wonderful Easter Brunch? Thanks!

The places I used to recommend went out of business so it's hard to think of new ones.
It depends on what you call a great Easter Brunch. Places will be crowded and you'll need reservations.
Copper Cellar on Kingston Pike does a traditional brunch buffet in a white table cloth setting.
Sunspot on the UT strip has great semi-vegetarian brunches and gets voted Best Brunch most years. So does Tomato Head on Market Square. I imagine Puleos will be doing brunch.
If you're a seafood fan, Bonefish Grill does brunch on Sundays. One of the few chains I recommend.
There are a lot more places. I imagine the hotels will have buffets. There's so many options it's hard to cite just one or two when I don't brunch much. I did go to Mimi's with friends not long ago and was totally unimpressed.

Toupsee,

I'm happy to recommend Puleo's. It's a locally owned restaurant with three locations in Knoxville...but you can probably count on all of them being crowded. I hear the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza downtown has a Sunday buffet that's quite good...although I've never eaten there to verify. The good thing about Knoxville; there are more restaurants per capita than just about any city in America. The flip side to that coin; a lot of the restaurants are chains that make you say, "meh."

If you're a fan of Hell's Kitchen, one of the chefs at Peerless in Knoxville is on that show this season. Peerless has nice ambience, usually great service, and very good food.

Most importantly, I hope you have a great Easter with your girl.

Try Airport Hilton.

I miss the brunch at Italian Market and Grill. Back in the 90's it was so wonderful.

Default Thank You!

Thank you so much for your input. We will check these out and regardless, have a Great weekend. My motto for the last couple of years has been,,"Never send your kids AWAY to college, they don't come home". Tennessee agrees with her. She is thriving, living large and is everything we hoped she'd be. Just wish we were there. Retirement is coming...

Northshore Brasserie is also doing an Easter Brunch. It's pricey but worth it.
We went for regular brunch one Sunday and it was yummy! And has a very nice interior.

FYI, just in case anyone cares. We had the most wonderful time at "The Crown and Goose" Charming, delicious and a wonderful wait staff (darn good Bloody Mary too). Those of you who live there (Knoxville) are so lucky. There is so much to do and see in your area and people are so friendly and helpful. Next visit---UT football then Christmas in the Smokies. Thanks for all of your input. I'll continue to happily eat my way through Knoxville.
