This thread just needs to expire, really, it has strayed from topic...

And I don't really care who smokes weed or gets busted for it, that really isn't a crime any more then making moonshine... honestly.

Smoking weed is a crime and so is making moonshine. And both are activities that are fairly common in Cocke County. It may not be common in Cosby, though, I don't know.

And I'm not sure how this thread has strayed from topic. Wasn't your question about crime in Cosby, which is in Cocke County?

Default I'm gonna

go out on a limb and suggest that Cosby is the undisputed moonshine capital of Cocke County. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe it is legal to make a small amount of moonshine for personal consumption. Making large quanties of moonshine for resale is INDEED a crime, an activity common in Cosby and well-documented on the evening news and newspapers just a few months ago. And growing, selling, and/or smoking marijuana is also a crime - regardless of quantity. And it's also illegal to fight roosters - another common activity there. ALL crimes - and all well-documented - fairly recently.

And I believe those laws extend beyond Cosby/Cocke County and you really should be aware...honestly.

I believe the thread has "strayed" because we are in opposition to the OP's views and have well known facts to support our viewpoints. And perhaps because noone is on here defending Cosby and agreeing with him. The beauty of asking for opinions is that someone is gonna give 'em.

Now, back to my green chile roasted chicken and homemade oatmeal bread- it's dinner time in NM. :0)

Speaking of straying, veering off course, I can remember, not in the too distant past - a little over two months ago - when the only thing that met the OP's standards was downtown Knoxville. Yes, my, oh my, how things can change.

Seems like the OP wishes this thread to close, so I will do so.
