I'm staying home and watching it on television. It's on WBIR and will probably be broadcast in HD.

I'm staying home and watching it from my "back yard".

Aaah, the joys of living in South Knoxville.

I guess we got snookered again. what was frustrating is that they showed a shot of a guy shooting with an HD camera Was it just me or were there odd lines moving across the image kind of like 'the good old days' when you got poor reception but not snow?

I was there last night. However i wasn't that impressed. Traffic wasnt all that bad though. Took me 22 minutes to get home. I parked in a structure at the end of Locust and drove to North West KNoxville.

I thought the finale got cut short. It was bizarre. And then the hosts were left having to stretch four minutes.

No HD. You are right, Ted. And I have a beautiful tv and there were squiggly lines galore. Weird. I would rather have sat and watched it, though. I can't do two years in a row.

It depends on where you are and if you know what you are doing on how long it takes to get home. I had a friend that was Facebooking and she sat for one hour in a parking garage and did not move. My guess is stay away from the parking garages in general, unless they are on Locust Street, apparently!

Ehhh, I was in the Locust Street garage and sat there for over 45 minutes waiting to get out. Of course, I was on the fifth level. Traffic on I-40 was temporarily semi-heavy but it thinned out pretty quick.

Wasn't that impressed with the fireworks. I love Knoxville, love Boomsday, but really Johnson City's fireworks on the 4th this year were better.

Yep. I was at Boomsday last year and have seen them before and there was just something wrong, I think. My husband and I looked at each other like, what the heck?
