into east Knoxville are you planning to drive? If you were to move to Seymour, you would probably just go through downtown Knoxville unless it's really far east. Looking at the map, I surely wouldn't want to go to east Knoxville via 338 from Seymour. That takes you a little backward of your destination and into Kodak and onto Hwy 66 - which can be a BEAR in tourist season. And it would be an extremely tiring daily drive to east Knoxville. If you're going to be spending most of your time in the east Knoxville area, you may want to consider Kodak locations close to the interstate.

A daily drive from Sevierville would surely be tiring. Personally, I wouldn't want to do it.

sorry, I should have been more specific. Prosser rd. is where I would drive to and from every day. I really don't want to drive more than 30 min. one way . I saw some places in Seymour that looked good and I would take Chapman Hwy. toward Knoxville.......are their any apts. in Kodak ? Google wouldn't show me much there except for a few hotels .

Unfortunately, for a lot of places, you are going to have to drive around and find signs. If you are not going with a professionally managed company, then most rentals are found that way.

Well, out here, even in the city, actually, there are a lot of "For Rent" signs just posted in front of properties. It's usually where you can find your best deals. You'll find them in Seymour and Sevierville. Also, don't completely rule out Sevierville. You'll learn the back roads and the shortcuts pretty quickly.

hey that's good to know, when I come there again looking around I'll look for signs too. Yea , I did see some nice places in Sevierville but was worried about tourist traffic making me take longer than what google maps says it is so learning the time on those back roads would be good too. Thx everyone !

I take the back road all the time. The masses don't usually use them. I've seen the main drag backed up in Sevierville and I just hop on 411 and I am right there in Seymour. I usually stop over at The Chop House, so I love going that way!

It is a consistently good restaurant. You'll be there a lot; there is one in Seymour and another in Sevierville!
