I used to play flag football almost every sunday at victor ashe park...There was always a bunch of people there and they always talked about this place out in West Knox that had flag football leagues,But i couldn't ever find any hands on info about it myself...I would love to play some flag football again as well,Or tackle for that matter even

I just moved here a few months ago as well. I would love to find a good place to play some basketball (full court, I hate half court games) or flag football. I live in West Knox and would be willing to go anywhere to play.

Yeah i hate half court as well...One of the reasons why i stopped going to the Rush...St Marys has a nice full court gym but there monthly dues is pretty pricey...Other than gyms and the Ymca..There really isn't many places in Knox to play full court pick up games anymore...There is a full court outside court in Clinton,But to find anyone there playing now days is pretty much just a shot in the dark...If you find anything tho keep it posted and i'll do the same...I'm trying to get some games going pretty much every weekend or so like back when i was in high school up til a few years ago

There's always a pickup basketball game to be played at the courts beside the sports bubble on UT's campus. The city league plays in gyms all over town and is very competitive. Contact them and you could probably be placed or directed to a team.

There's a good flag league I played in after college at John Tarleton Park off Sutherland. You can probably Google it.

I'm on the staff at a church in West Knox near Kingston Pike. We run every Monday evening (pick up - whole court cause I don't like half either) starting at 7pm. It's a good run, competitive but fun. Faith Lutheran Church, 239 Jamestowne Blvd., Farragut. TN 37934. Usually 10-15 guys. Just come in and ask for Minister Chris. Shoot me an email at ministerchris@faithloves.org.

Did anyone ever find any churches in Knox to do pick-up games?
