I was wondering, does anyone think Las Cruces' 2010 population will be above 100,000 after the official Census counts? The 2009 estimate was 93,570. Rio Rancho as of 2009 is estimated at 82,574, while Santa Fe is estimated at 73,720.

I think it would be… I don't know that census numbers are completely accurate anyway, though

I think they're estimating somewhat less than 100,000.

In fact a little more than that; Las Cruces MSA population is estimated to be 201,603 as of 2009.

I assume the recent census estimates are on the low end, so I think it's possible we could be over 100k. On the other hand I'm pretty sure the growth has slowed the past few years due to the economy so we might be a little under.
