The Lake Las Vegas pre-trial conference was held yesterday. This conference is to hear motions and to prepare for the exit from Bankruptcy on Monday.

There were only 3 creditors objecting to the plan. Carmel, Transcontinental and the City of Henderson. The rest of the creditors all approved it.

In yesterday's conference, the City of Henderson in docket # 2459 file with the court has withdrew their objection to the plan. Even Carmel has removed one or more of their objections to the plan. Carmel and Transcontinental are class 7, unsecured creditors and their main objection is that the plan was too vague. This alone does not appear to be able to keep the plan from being confirmed and Lake Las Vegas exiting from bankruptcy.

Docket # 2460 appears to the final/revised plan, which is essentially the same as the prior revision, but has further discussions/details about the t-16/Falls Plat of Phase II of Lake Las Vegas.

So, it looks like come Monday June 21st, Lake Las Vegas should be emerging from Bankruptcy!!!!!!!! The timing of this is interesting as the Falls Golf Course has been fertilized, watered and looks better than is has in over a year. It's ready for play!!

Appreciate the LLV updates, but it would be easier to follow developments if you posted your updates in one thread rather than continually creating new threads (at least to me). Your choice of course, but the way you are currently doing it makes it difficult to review what has transpired in the past.

Once again, I appreciate you keeping us apprised of the latest developments.

Glad to keep everyone updated. I did update on an old LLV update post one time and a someone advised that I shouldn't an old post. So, I wasn't sure which was the best route.

Luckily and hopefully, these LLV bankruptcy updates will no longer be needed after Monday.

LLV, you seem like a champion of the bankruptcy action, and it's so good of you to keep all updated. Just curious...what are your expectations of how things will go with Lake Las Vegas, once they emerge from bankruptcy? In other words...what's your prediction for the future of Lake Las Vegas?

The Lake Las Vegas confirmation hearing was today!!!!!!!!! I just got off the phone with Bankruptcy Court Judge Riegles' clerk. While she could not give me any specifics of the confirmation, she did say that the matter was over today. I also called the attorney's office in LA to find out if the exit has been confirmed. None of the attorneys were available as they were in NV today. The receptionist couldn't provide me with any information but thought the official announcement would be made Tuesday or Wednesday of the specifics of the Lake Las Vegas Bankruptcy plan.

@JFKIII, I feel confident that LLV will emerge as less of a tourist attraction and become more of a middle-upper class suburb golfing resort neighborhood... like a Scottsdale, with the added benefit of having the strip nearby. The bankruptcy will untangle all of the messes created by original developers, including the Falls and Reflection Bay Golf courses. LLV needs to get more services closeby and also get more roofs as well to thrive. There are now hammers swinging in Belle Fiore, the golf courses are groomed and green so things are heading in the right direction again.

I recently heard today that a VERY high end hotel in Asia was one of the interested buyers in the Ritz property. However, I was thinking a more moderate-priced famly focused hotel would be a better fit for the future.

For some village news, they just added valet parking again, so you don't have to walk from the parking a garage!

I'll update this as soon as I hear more specifics of the confirmation.

Ahhh...makes sense. That might just work. They might have more success by removing any casino influence, right? Just make it residential.

The Las Vegas Sun just reported that the Judge gave the verbal approval of the plan and the signatures will be done by this Friday. The usual negative Sun posters are already out in full-force. These same 5 people, who I believe are the same people posting under different profile names post negative comments on just about every topic in the LV Sun. The BK plan looks good ( I read it in black and white) and should pave a nice future for LLV. Like any other housing development, there are still speed-bumps ahead, but things are in place to move forward.

I think there will always be a casino influence. It's Nevada. However, I would like/hope to see something more along the lines of a Lucky Strike Bowling Alley, coupled with family friendly game room and a casino.

Right now, the village is pretty busy Thursday to Sunday. It's the Monday to Wednesday that need some attention to get more people to visit. The Thursday night movies are great. I had dinner at one of the restaurants with a view of the screen. The weekend concerts, wine walks ect are a blast!

I'm glad to hear the village has some busy days, every time I'm there it's a ghost town.
