Thank you all for the advice i really appreciate it!!! As far as you Dynimaelv, I clearly see what people have posted millions of times However I am not them and I will ask a question more than a million times to get my own opinions and insight from talking to people. Especially if it involves me moving myself and family from a place I have been born and raised! sorry it upset you, maybe you should overlook these threads and NOT respond if it really bothers you. Have a lovely day!!!

Thank you. I agree, Me and my Boyfriend are going to take a drive and spend some time there as much as possible before we do the move. He has lived there for some time and loves it, But i have to see for myself.

Good decision. 8 months after our move, my girlfriend still can not get used to the heat. Not that I'm considering moving again but even the smallest things can become very significant unless you visit first.

Well, it's around 110 in LV this afternoon but it's the proverbial "dry heat."

I bet where you are it may be 90 but the relative humidity is around 65-75% with a dewpoint of around 70-80. In Las Vegas, even though it's 110, the humidity is less than 10% and the dewpoint around 20.

Personally, I'd find it much more comfortable in southern Nevada right now than where you are even though there's a 20 degree difference in the temperature.

That puts it all into perspective. To answer your question summer, yes I like it a lot. There are things that I miss but you can't have the best of both places without owning a private jet. If I had the money I would probably live back east during the summer here though. But that's just me getting picky.
