Any buyers have experience with this company? Just made a bid on a house in Las Vegas and the seller wants to use them. Wondered if their fees were competitive and if there have been any complaints about them. BBB shows a few issues, but that is the case with many other title companies as well. Thanks.

I've used them with no problems. I don't think it matters much which one you use. But I'll wait to hear from OC.

Ticor is fine...it is the title company I generally use even though the corp is tied up with Equity Title.

I care more about the individual escrow agent than I do about the company.

All fees are about the same bottom up...but they are done enough differently that they are hard to compare. Your agent should pay attention as strange fees have appeared in some escrows recently.

Even had one escrow try and slide in a $250 fee for cancelling it.

Zeigler is one of the notoriously overworked teams. Do not expect a cheerful experience.

Small world. I'm almost certain that Zeigler was my escrow officer as well. I'll check my docs when I get home. I don't think I ever spoke a single word with Joanne as all my interaction was with one of her assistants. I've written maybe a half dozen letters in my life in response to superior service. One of them was to Joanne Zeigler extolling the service of one of her escrow assistants. I recommended that she not let that one get away.

<on edit>I just sorted through my emails and confirmed that Zeigler was my escrow officer. I can't comment specifically on Joanne as my interaction with her was minimal. I was, however, pleased with the service from her team. Jennifer, in particular.

I dealt with Ticor on my first home and it was an easy and painless process. I dealt with Lawyers on my second home and it was a total mess. I'm sure some of it was the fault of my lender, but they changed my appointment on me three times and delayed my close by 4 days as a result. Once I got into the office it was a pleasant enough experience, but just getting there was a hassle as it coincided with a busy time at work and had to keep telling my boss I needed a few hours away only to change the plans again and again.

I used them at the end of June. Closing took 19 days and total closing costs were about $1100.
