Scorpions appear to be entering the house from the yard. I spray Demon on the yard and in the home. They still are getting in but are dead. We have young kids nad I want to avoid that sting. Non toxic products do NOT work for us...this has been a five year battle!Diatamacious earth, cedar oil, moth balls...do not work for us. Please help. I want sometrhing strong for the yard about 25' out from the base of the house.

I dunno...I B a scorpion myself and it hard to get rid of us!

Seems like the scorps are heading to your place for warmer holes to sleep in. You could electrically charge the perimeter of your house with a 9 Volt Battery, see if that wards them off but thats alot of work and alot of wire.

best bet contact Terminatrix or Orkin - they used to spray our place and that got rid of them. or kill them with fire. lol.

Get a black light and a club. After dark light them up and hit them with the club. Do it a couple of times a week for a while and no more scorpions.

They are very hard to poison. Don't eat it and have hard shell that protects them from absorbing it.

When insects are dieing they are looking for food and water, they think if they can replenish themselves then they can survive. When anything gets poisoned it takes a while for them to die. What you are doing is working, because they are dead. You really do not want anything that will kill them instantly when they walk over it, or it would be unsafe for you and your children. There are some aerosols that will kill them instantly, but you need to get it right on them.

Take a night and go on a scorpion hunt. Your children would probably get a kick out of it. Just make sure to wear long pants and tennis shoes. This will give you an idea of where they are coming from. When you find the main area where they are, then make sure that you concentrate on that area with any products you are using.

You are going to have scorpions until the end of time if you don't find out where they are coming in from and seal it.

Man I LUV them Bark Scorpions....BUT I love the Brown Recluse SPIDERS even more...You should actually be mindful of them more than scorpions. Not to mention the Rattles. Scorpions are kinda tame around here compared to those two guys....
