I repeat, there is NO foul odor in Aliante because I would not live here. You are obviously smelling something else. Maybe the sewer lines, or the trash cans, or you are a super smeller that can smell things no one else can. Or maybe it's you and not the area. It does not stink here.
Everyone, please come out to Aliante on any given day of the week, or evening, weekends too, and report back here if you smell what Jhiker thinks they smell.
I have been here for 6 1/2 years and the only thing I HAVE smelled is when they work on the sewer lines, plus there is one area AT Aliante station where I think the sewer line sprung a leak because it stinks! bad! Some of the time. When it's hot especially. Ewww. I bet that's it.

Hehehehe Pink you dont have to be SO defensive about your community. If you read carefully my first post on this thread, I said I noticed a foul odor on my visit to ALIANTE STATION. I have also driven many times by 215 on the way to Valley of Fire and the Nellis Sand Dunes and on certain occasions the open stretch of 215 near Aliante Station has a foul odor in the atmosphere.

Good if you say you do not smell the odor but DO NOT NEGATE WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN THE PAST simply to protect your community's image. Quite laughable really, even more hilarious when good ole mentioned the odor is only around once every 5 years. Hehehehe by the way I like Aliante Station and I will still visit it regardless of the odor situation.

The laughable thing is there is no odor in the ENTIRE community here. But i do think there is something AT Aliante station. Also, there could have been a dead animal down off the beltway. I have smelled them before and it's not pretty.

I still think old downtown smells worse. Especially around the Western.

Jhiker,
By the way, I know my community, it does not stink. So when someone come's on here and says it does, that the pig farm is smelled from here, or the republic station way down the road, or apex, which is much further, then I will defend my community. Because living here is a lot different than visiting one time. And those of us who live in Aliante know what our little area is like. If it did stink, I will come in here and post it when it happens. Happy now?

You know what smells the worst of anything I've experienced lately? The El Cortez. That place almost made me barf. I kept trying not to breathe...was only in there 5 mins thank god.
There is also a pee like smell around that casino...makes me wonder do the homeless just stand there and pee on the side of the building?

???

I used to live off of Farm/Decatur (near Aliante) and I never smelled anything bad.

The drive on 215 to I-15 from Aliante is a good 15 minute drive. Are you talking about the 95? Because the 95 turns into the 93 down by the Strip. Also the 95 is a good 10-15 minutes from Aliante as well.

The bottom line there is an odor especially driving on the open stretch of 215 freeway near Aliante Station. As I have said on my visits to Aliante Station I noticed the foul odor and given the right wind conditions those foul odor can travel the distance. It's a good thing I don't live in the area and I did not start this thread, somehow some might be concerned regarding the foul odor, whether it's from the Pig Farm, the Republic Services garbage facility and maybe even the largest landfill in the United States, APEX.

Oh by the way I highly doubt you will actually tell your prospective clients about the foul odor in the area given that you are in the Real Estate business.
LOL, I'm sorry your photos of Aliante and the landfill make me laugh. I lived in that area (Aliante) for 3 years and never once smelled anything bad. Honestly the only thing I smell is pollution when I get closer to the Strip/or I'm driving South on the 95.
