Anyway, Cosmo employees will be riding shuttle buses to and from the employee entrance, which will probably add about an hour to our day. Oh well...beats walking.
An hour? On a weekend, at 5pm, getting across the Strip, try more like 2 hours.

I thought the parking lot is on Harmon and Polaris. It makes more sense because there's a lot less traffic and a more direct route. Seriously, there's a ton of traffic on the way from Koval and Flamingo to The Cosmo. Let's see: Koval and Flamingo (always busy)/Koval and Harmon(construction behind MGM that has been going on for years)/Harmon and Las Vegas Blvd (there's a really busy crosswalk here). I hope they don't make the permanent parking lot there.

The more I hear about the place and employment situation the better it gets. Example PTO, day one senority, inside looks awesome, marriott discount etc. But if the parking situation is bad could get really old really fast.

hhhmmm.....still awaiting word on mine. nothing at all

eh said screw it and decided to call one last time.
sorry to report there is no news yet but dealers are the top priority and you should be receiving something shortly as they are finishing their decisions now.it won't be long.
i'll be receiving my rejection soon although you would think that they would just send a mass final rejection out

Hope is gone man I spoke with Olga and Laura and said all positions have been filled. I tried for months to get a hold of the hiring manager because I knew this was gonna happen nothing would happen and it would be too late. I wish everyone the best.

todays orientation lasted about 7 hours...traffic was real bad, i would recommend getting dropped off or park at the bellagio like i did and just walk next door. the place looks amazing and i cant wait to start serve some guests some ****ing drinks. hearing them talk today it really and truly seems like they are trying to reinvent the way vegas works with guests. i hope all of you get in, i feel very lucky to be in my position. property tour tomorrow for F&B
