LVS says it is six months from when the Cosmo opens, he says it is 6 months from when he left. sounds like a reasonable explanation. Thanks so much for sharing the info you had. Wish they could do the same and just tell us that instead of it being a big secret.

if this is the case, and the cosmo has started orientation, that would throw everyone from the venetian out.. they would just hire from other casinos to cover.. i don't believe that they would eliminate the others once this supposed arbitration is solved... take it with a grain of salt...

of course the odds of the venetian/palazzo employees getting tossed are slim to nothing but if it did happen it would provide openings for the people on the sidelines waiting to hear one way or the other.that being said that would suck ass if ya got the job on your own without help from the venetian and got kicked out after already quitting the venetian

i did not say they were keeping them on hold.. if there was an issue on hiring, they would just go to the next group... they don't have time to play around.. i also believe IF there is even an issue, it would be between the venetian and the dept. manager.. once you've signed a on board agreement, it is a done deal (minus the background and drug test)... so those that have been hired are in.. period....! i think this is just false hope being spread around

while i do agree with you i just don't get why they are not just rejecting me and others.as you said they ARE opening in less than a month. drop the hammer already goddamnit. fortunately, i already have a good job and not really sweating it. I do feel for those that are on hold and really needed it.

hhwwe1 "fortunately I already have a good job and not really sweating it." Sure that's why you been posting non stop for the last few days. I think dealers chances of getting hired at this point are ZERO. Move On.
