Default Dress code

It will run the gamut -- shorts, jeans, dressy casual, cocktail dresses. Anything goes.

Thats it? All business establishments require that?
I would dress slightly formal and comfortable. I dont think anything is enforced.(dress code)

but there is this one story.....

Me and my wife went to cirque du soleil a couple of months ago. The dress code was suppose to be strictly formal(non casual) and supposedly enforced. I think 99% of the people in the show looked dressed to impress like they were ready to attend a ball room play or some Opera house event. But there were about 4-5 people that stood out with football Jerseys and matching team hats. I think one of them even had cut off jeans. Also had piercings covering his entire face. It was all eyes on them before and after the show. You can just hear all the whispering going on in the back ground.

I guess the dress code is not enforced as long as you are a paying customer.

shirt and shoes required...pants are optional.

Truly...anything does seem to go...however, you can never go wrong by wearing something you go to work in...unless you're a stripper or a hooker, that is!

Woohoo, I don't have to wear any pants! Yes!

Just wear what is comfortable. It sounds like their standards are not that high. When I go to a show I generally dress up nicer, but that is my style.

You really see a bit of everything. But in general, most people dress nice when they go to the shows. The best way I can describe it would be Sunday dress. However, this is Vegas so you do see some women wearing skimpy/hooker like dress.

It's Vegas, Baby! The dress code has always been ...it's best to wear a little something. Total nudity is frowned upon.

Those are the skimpy hookers.....

90% of the time, when you see someone dressed up at a show...they are locals....

the story goes [from back in da day] that on opening night at the Flamingo, Buggsy was walking down the line at the show entrance...he stopped in front of a couple dressed as they dress now....and said. "You just ain't got no class." and from that day forward the dress codes was set.....

Are you saying that every show that you've been to you've seen that or you've worn that? (I hope that it is the former.)
