Exactly. Depending on whose numbers you reference, Macau's gaming revenue surpassed Vegas' as early as in 2006.

Default Asians and Gambling...

And just in case anyone doubts the connection, Mr. Au Fook Yew (yep...that's his name! ) and his Genting Hong Kong Ltd. company have just signed a lucrative deal with NY State to develop an operate the racino (consisting of > 4500 slots) at Aqueduct racetrack...

On Aug. 3, after disqualifying two other bidders on the Aqueduct project, the Division of Lottery strongly recommended Genting, despite an open investigation regarding Genting officials by the Racing and Wagering Board and a separate probe of the previous Aqueduct bidding process by the inspector general's office. But state leaders also liked Genting and last week signed a contract with the group to get the mammoth Queens racino built and gain Genting's promised up-front payment, a whopping $380 million that exceeded any bid offered during four rounds of competitions since 2006. The attorney general's office and comptroller also must sign off on the deal for the rights to build the lucrative gaming hall in the nation's largest gambling market of 12 million New York City area residents.

Ahm...China is a better place for business. You can pay people a pittance of money, and they work hard, and you aren't legally required to pay overpriced healthcare for them either.

In my opinion, Macau, a special administrative region of China, has a much better public healthcare system than the United States.

Steve Wynn is just like everyother greedy american buissness man. When the working man sarts to earn a decent living he starts to find ways to take it away from them.In this case he only pays the workers min wage(dealers). But he decided he could steal or skim off the dealers tips in order to pay his other employees because he is too cheap to pay them himself.Because of his stupid actions two big casinos decided bring in a union for dealers and more are on the way.
