I bought a 3 day pass and didn't realize until the transaction was complete that there is a more expensive pass required for ACE and Deuce. I don't see any way to cancel or upgrade the pass now.

Can I still use the pass and pay the difference in cash if I want to use the ACE or Deuce lines?

I found the answer after calling RTC. They said I can use the $15 All Access pass and it will work exactly the same as the $20 Premium Service pass on Ace and Deuce lines. The $15 passes are discontinued and no longer for sale at vending machines, but they can be purchased online until they are sold out and removed from their website.

$15 for only 3 days seems kind of high.

It's 5 dollars a day for a 24 hour pass. On the strip it's $7 a day.

How much for a 30 day pass in Portland? Here in Vegas it's $65.

In Portland there is a huge part of the city where public transportation is free. Or it was 3 years ago when I was there. I even got from the airport to down town for less than 3 dollars.

The free zone has been reduced to light rail only.
TriMet: Free Rail Zone (Formerly Fareless Square)

Our monthly pass is more then Vegas, but our system is more extensive, including a expanding light rail system. If Vegas would get a light rail system, I would try to move there and work.

In 2015 will will open a new line to Milwaukie including a new bridge across the Willamette river.

Then in 2018 will will cross into Washington as part of a $4 billion dollar project.
