Anything but colonial. BLAH!
Vegas has some very cool looking older homes. It's the newer cookie cutter ones I can't stand!

Even if they did....the price tag would still be very high.

The Blonde woman read the headline in the newspaper: "Two Brazillian Men Die in Sky Diving Accident."

She broke into tears. Her boyfriend tried to console her saying, "there are inherent risks in skydiving, and the 2 Brazillians knew about those risks."

She continued to cry & sob.

Finally she turned to her boyfriend and asked, "How many is a Brazillian?"

Can anyone else see those pix? I got the red X's. Did you live in Kokopelli, HH?
Buzz, actually my mother lived there, and coincidentally, she had a Buzz as a neighbor, LOL! Might not be you but I think she said they moved in about a year before she left. I was trying to find another picture from her, a coyote came in the yard while I was there with my then smaller children (now teens) and my little girl says, "Grandma, there's a doggy in your yard." Come to find out it was a coyote, we called animal control, but before they took him we got a couple of really good pics of him by the cactus garden, you would have thought it was a photo op........it looked perfect.

Far as I know I'm the only Buzz here. Our house was built in 2001. I think it was the second phase (meaning when the builder got out of jail he came back and finished it). Some had already been here for two years before that.
Coyote must have gotten in before the wall was finished. Another good reason for walls.

Informative, interesting thread, so I thought I'd bring it back with a few new questions.

How about these types of housing...is there a 'name' for the style?

They are quite typical of Las Vegas, it seems...

It is derivative of Tuscan, Mediterranean and Spanish architecture.

I believe the style is called 2007 crunched. How to get the most house onto the smallest lot.

The worst version...the three storey crunch...has goe out of favor. That was also known as the mountain goat model.
