For those of you interested in the sports book:

Huffington Post has unveiled a new series each Friday where guest blogger Jeff Ma of Citizen Sports (and author of The House Advantage) challenges the legendary professional sports gambler Dr. Bob. "Each week we are both going to pick five games against the spread. We'll publish the picks each Friday on Huffington Post. At the end of the season one of us will owe the other dinner and hopefully, we will have provided some entertaining content for you."

To my knowledge, Dr. Bob had one great year, about 3-4 years ago, and I don't think he's been above .500 in his predictions since. Let me give my predictions and if I get lucky, I'll open up a Sports Service and make some 'side' money. Here's my predictions for tonight: Jets-1 1/2 and Chiefs (yep) +5 1/2. DISCLAIMER: Don't bet the mortgage, or even the bread money on these selections. No guarantees when betting.

I should have specified that I'm not the one calling him a genius -- that's just how he's touted by the Wall Street Journal. I guess he has a good agent.

Maybe that's why Ma's book is called The House Advantage.
