We are coming from Arizona and he has had no luck here. Any suggestions ?
there is a pretty big military and spook contingent connected to Nellis and the Area 51 and such. EG&G is one big contractor and I suspect there are others.

If he has security clearances it might work out.

A person who is strong and will ot give up will get a job...My wife just got hired at a awesome private school in Henderson and I got a warehouse shipping super job and they gave me a month to get there...Came for a small vacation to look for jobs, she stayed because of some interveiws and I came to Ohio to be with the kids and pack as we were coming no matter what happened. She went on a few, then a friend told her to stop by the school just to put a face with the resume she sent online and they told her to sit down for a interveiw they need a 4th grade teacher...went awesome and we are going to be living with our friend who has a bigger house and just went through a divorce and needs help with the bills. We figure to look for houses while splitting the bills and in 8 months or so buy something near the Del Webb Middle school/ Henderson International area. So we are finally getting to come home and fingers crossd our 4 years of crappy luck is turning around...

I'm starting to wonder if any of the jobs on Craigslist are real. You never get any response even if you have everything the ad states it's looking for. Today I got in my email a resume from another job seeker who saw my ad on Craigslist....I don't have an ad on Craigslist.

The more you know about Craigslist, the more you wish that newspaper classifieds were the way they used to be. Be careful on Craigslist and take everything with a grain of salt.

i hope you didn't upload to any of those companies supposedly looking for employees on craigslist... if so, they have your personal information. ALOT of those ads are bogus.

There are some jobs to be had however it's the luck of the draw, the Plaza just had a job fair to hire 800 workers and 8000 showed up for those jobs.

Finding a job in Vegas is very difficult and appears to be getting worse, more people are looking but not enough jobs out here. The analysts report there is 5 applicants for everyone 1 job. Good luck in your search make sure you have enough money to live on for a year in case you don't find work for that long and have a solid back up plan if it doesn't work out for you.
Unemployment rate drops in Nevada, but rises in Las Vegas Valley

Nevada's unemployment rate turned in an uneven performance in May, with the statewide rate dropping even as the Las Vegas Valley's level rose.
