@ Thanks Rebel Fan for the link. I ran across that story as well. I'm not sure why it was so newsworthy as it hit all the major new wires. The good news is there is that will remain a low density neighborhood with AMAZING views of the lake and the strip. As I have already posted, the Belle Fiore neighborhood is continuing to build new homes, I think they have sold/built over 20 homes in the past year with more to come. I also heard that the Casa Palermo neighborhood, the first on the left will be selling new homes again by spring. There are also new home flags flying at Tremezzo too.

There is still NO updates on the judge's decision on the water rights issues with the Golf Courses. The judge took it under advisement in October. I still can't imagine why Carmel doesn't retain an operator to open up either the Falls or Reflection Bay for the Dolce guests to play. All of their potential business is being send to Southshore, Tuscany etc. Some rumors I have heard are that there are buyers for them, just pending the judge's decision.

I also was told from the city that the LLV Parkway improvments has been delayed until April. I was certainly hoping that they re-surfacing and completing of the north loop would have started by now. Seems they needed an engineer and approval process to pave a road. I did confirm that the money is there, just the red tape of getting a project started.

The Dolce Ravella is still scheduled for opening on 2/11. There will be a big LLV happy hour on Saturday the 12th in the lobby bar around 5pm to celebrate.

My sources also tell me that the casino deal is in works. The dates for re-opening are all over the board.. I hear everything from the same time as the Dolce hotel opening, to no later than April and then June of this year. The good news is that it will re-open!!!!

The commerical realtor @ LLV has told me several exciting tenants are coming to Lake Las Vegas around the time the hotel opens.

I'll keep the updates coming. Stay tuned!!!!

Which plot of land does Della Montagna sit on? I rode my bike around the north shore loop this past weekend and didn't spot it. Also took a ride on the reflection bay golf course. Amazing how picturesque the greens are, even when the grass is brown!

@ Rebel. It is located at the SE Corner of LLV Parkway and Grand Meditterania, the road that goes to Southshore at the traffic circle. The vacant sales office is still there. It will butt up against and between the Southshore and Falls courses. If you haven't done so, take a hike or bike on the Falls Course, it's truly amazing. The homes in phase 2 up there will have spectactular views. LLV is such an awesome place.

It's such a shame that Carmel isn't taking proper care of the courses. What's worse is the city isn't enforcing the maintenance codes with the hefty fines that goes with the violations.

Make sure you attend the LLV Locals Dolce Celebration on Saturday 2/12 in the lobby, the plans aren't finalized but it should start around 5pm and go to whenever.

I heard that the judge make have a decision on the golf courses water rights issues this Thursday February 10th. The decision is way over due and promised an answer a few weeks ago.

I'm also hearing (from reliable/credible sources) that the casino should be re-opened on Memorial Day weekend to kick off the summer busy season. It is a local operator. Keeping my fingers crossed!

PS: I stopped by the Tremezzo Model Homes last weekend. The sales agent said that on Saturday, the first day they opened there were over 200 people viewing the homes. I was there on Sunday and there were dozens there during my 30 minute visit. Definitely a great buzz!!!

Ate at the village this past weekend, and I heard the same from the wait staff. Some sort of local operator. They also mentioned the possibility of all the table games being "virtual".

There was quite a bit of traffic in-and-out of Tremezzo this weekend. Also good to see that they appear to have started on the LLV parkway updates with the paving of the two traffic circles.

@ Rebel Fan, thanks for the post and update on Tremezzo. Harmony has priced the homes perfectly pitting them against foreclosures in the Valley, without the hassel of dealing with a bank owned or short sale at the same price. I checked MLS, there are hardly any foreclosures left in LLV. So, if someone wants to live in Lake Las Vegas, their options are becoming new construction now.

I checked the court docket today for the Carmel Land and Cattle vs City of Henderson over the water rights issue. The judge is giving the decision at 9am on Thursday February 10th. Rumors are that as soon as this decision is made, the courses will be sold to new owners. However, I imagine that is pending if someone appeals.

That is great that the LLV Parkway work is started. The upper loop and the entrance to phase two is supposed to begin in April. (according to the city)

I'll report what I find about the judge's decision as soon as I can find out Thursday morning and post asap!!!!!!

The fire pit is up and running @ the Dolce Ravella court yard. What a welcomed sight!!! The LLV Locals resident welcome is Saturday the 12th from 5-7pm.

Default Casino Montelago Lake Las Vegas opening soon!!!

While attending the Lake Las Vegas Resident's Welcome party last night, I ran into and chatted with the new operator of the Montelago Casino.

It's going to happen everyone! If all goes well, it sounds like the casino should be re-opened on/by Memorial Day weekend!!!!! Yahoo!!!!

The gaming licenses have been applied for and the building permits for the build out and improvements will begin next week. I really don't want to reveal the person's name or business as it will likely hit the media any day now since the licences have been applied for and it is all public record.

The new operator is so excited about this and there are major changes coming!!!! The plans sound so amazing and will be a casino that will draw people out to it! Once the operator name is made public, I'll post more details.

The judge did make a decision on the golf courses last week regarding the water rights, which appears to be a good for both sides. However, the judge left some details for Carmel and the developers to work out as far as recycling the water in the lake.

The Welcome Party was a total success at the Ravalla Saturday night. The hotel was filled! It was great to see the lights on and people buzzing around in the hotel and grounds.

The Residents will plan a welcome party for the casino as well and looking forward to those lights coming back on too!!!!

Stay tuned. I'll keep the blog posted with updates.

Great to hear. Am interested in the water issues with the golf courses...LLVResident would you mind to post a link to where the court dockets are posted, assuming they are public? Thanks for the updates and glad to hear things are on the upswing there.
