Hello,

We're looking at new construction neighborhoods and have easily found the web sites for Summerlin, Mountains Edge, Madeira Canyon, Inspirada, etc., but we can't find a general web site for Centennial Hills. I just keep running into Realtor web sites. Can someone provide a link to Centennial Hills' web page (not individual Realtor pages) if there is one? I'm looking to see who builds there, what their price ranges are, etc.

Thanks so much,
Stacey

Centenial Hills is not a master plan, as opposed to the neighborhods you mentioned that are, which is why there isn't a website.

Is Centennial Hills officially within the city of Las Vegas and receiving all city services?
How about the Lone Mountain area next to it?

Cetennial Hills is pretty much all in the City of Las Vegas. Lone Mountain is in fact a town in the County of Clark. Note that in places it gets complex and you may even find islands of Clark County surrounded by the City of Las Vegas.

And be careful about being near the border...those County cats may not know about where the city border is...

I just found the city government map site and it looks like some homes listed that were labeled "Lone Mountain" 89149 on real estate listings are within the Las Vegas borders.

" Las Vegas City Map "
For instance the Brookside subdivision behind Kohls south east of Centennial Hills hospital and most of the homes I see north of Centennial Parkway come up in Lone Mountain home searches instead of Centennial Hills searches, yet the Las Vegas city map says those areas are part of the Las Vegas city limits.

On a semi-related note - even the areas that aren't within city limits will still have Las Vegas mailing addresses. So you won't find homes with a Lone Mountain mailing address or a Spring Valley mailing address or anything like that.

You are getting into different callouts for the areas. The RE agents actually use a numbering system of their own...Lone Mountain is in 405 while Centennial Hills is mostly in 102. And the city call out is always Las Vegas in the County or the City. In fact the County has more population than the City by a good margin. The actual way to tell is the assessor maps at GIS...

GISMO

One of the alternate maps is zoning for each of the municipalities which makes it quite clear what is where.

Someone set up a website and posted some photos, but looks like it hasn't been updated it since 2007.
