Hi,

Can anyone give me some info on these streets/areas?

2100-block of Englestad Street and 1700-block of West Bonanza.

I may be looking for something to buy as I love Vegas, but I realise every city has its bad areas.

Any info is appreciated.

Those areas are terrible... you don't want to live anywhere near there.

Default Re:

Find East/West running streets starting at numbers 4000 - 9000....those are the much better areas of town....The East/West numbers start at 0 at Las Vegas Blvd on each side, and get higher as you go east/west. The higher the number, generally, the safer the area, however try to stay from Northeast Bonanza, Lamb, Washington...etc...Always something going on there as far as crime.

I second this, however it depends...N Las Vegas and E Las Vegas in the extreme digits have some bad elements as well...The "safest" places that Im aware of, are Aliante, Summerlin, Mountain's Edge in the south, and Henderson....Maybe Lake Las Vegas area as well.

Stick to NW and SW areas....Cleaner looking, more spacious...and it doesnt give you much bad vibes....

Yep, there are pockets of unsafe areas everywhere around the valley, so always check the crimeview stats on www.lvmpd.com for a particular area you're interested in, or ask the forum.
