Why not? There will always be cliques around, don't let it stop you. Just chime in if you would like to express your views.

I had a music video play at the Las Vegas Film Festival, but I didn't attend because I don't travel out of town for festivals really unless it's a big one. But it was sad to see CineVegas cancel their festival for this year at least. Grr...

My wife and I visited Springs Reserve for the first time Thursday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, we weren't able to try the cafe because it closed at 3:00pm. Maybe next time.

The cafe is only open for lunch, I guess not enough business after the lunch crowd has left. I bring my nephews with me as much as I can when I visit the Springs Preserve. They like the exhibits. The Springs Preserve really needs local support. They have great activities throughout the year. Nice alternative from the usual casino, movies, shopping center hang out. The fees they charge help maintain the Springs Preserve and it is definitely worth it.

I, too, miss the Guggenheim at the Venetian. It was great that they were able to exhibit famous paintings from the Hermitage, Russia and the art museum of Vienna.

I admire 17th century Dutch art and the Dutch creation of the first modern republic.

So, other than at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, where could I have seen this powerful painting "Beware of Luxury" by Jan Steen?:

I preferred the Art of the Motorcycle exhibit at the Guggenheim compared to the Guggenheim Fine Arts Museum at the Venetian. Imagine if both Guggenheims are still here, they could have had more interesting exhibits. I like how the evolution of the motorcycle was showcased during its run at the Guggenheim in the Venetian.
