Circus Circus is fine for a family visiting, the hotel is sufficient enough and the facilities for children will do. For others just for the sake of getting less expensive rooms, there are hotels on the Strip and Downtown within the same price range as Circus Circus.

My bad...I meant to say that Circus Circus is far away from the main attractions or the center of the strip.

I think that place is a dump frequented by lower class people.

You may be VERY disappointed.

Lower class people......heaven forbid!

We have to stop in there every trip so my wife can play on a particular slot, I think it's called "Crazy Cops"....then we get out of there.

You get what you pay for. There are good deals on the higher end hotels out there right now. Shop around. More than anything, enjoy your stay and the way I look at it is that where ever anyone chooses to stay...it is all good for LV. So, pick a place, plan some fun and spend, spend, spend!!!!

Just make sure that your mattress wasn't previously used for blackjack jumping...or bedbug partying!

It was so crowded that there were two lines going round and round the casino in opposite directions, and it was impossible to stop, sit, or stand. As my (first) wife and I would pass people we knew every ten minutes, everyone would ask over and over again, "Have you seen a restroom?" There were only two restrooms, one up and one down, and nobody could find them, or if they did they couldn't get in.

Besides the games for kids, they had carnival-like scams going on for adults, such as an auction where you might end up paying 10 times what something was worth. They had strippers too if I remember correctly. I remember seeing Jay Sarno all over the place acting like a carnival barker at times. There was a guy that did a high dive onto a mattress-like pad right beside a 21 table. When he would hit the pad with a big thud from about three stories up, the players at that table would barely take notice. That's what I've always loved about Las Vegas. Weez all jaded.

Personally...I think that Las Vegas should just cut this joint right out of The Strip...
