Not yet on the pool situation, and I'm really done with the rain. I have to go out to Albertson's later and I hate to drive in the stuff.

Imagine if it were snow! Eeeehh gads

Having driven in both situations, I have to say, the snow driving is a bit easier! But, I would still rather desert living! At least the rain doesn't last as long as the snow! Careful driving!

Just quoted this to throw the context way off.

You KNOW we're getting a lot of rain here in town when you click on the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard website and you get this message on their home page..

"DEEP
We are in the middle of a monster storm. 73" of snow and counting... "

Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort - Home Page

I got a kid working up there, didn't even bother to come home last night, stayed over, roads were and are bad. And some places up on the Mount have spotty power outtages.

Sunny, chilly and no snow (yet!) here in The Catskills. We're hoping for a White Christmas...not a Wet Christmas.

The weather forecasters, if they're right for a change, are predicting the rain to stop either late today or tomorrow and a bright, dry Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Thank goodness, no snow here in Las Vegas, but check out the link I posted to the Ski and Snowboard website...

And to think, THAT'S less than an hour away from the Las Vegas Strip

Have a wonderful White Christmas like Bing sang about, jfk!!!

Second, your house doesn't even compare to what I'll be looking at in the future, so it's all relative. I mean yay your house went up, great, good for you. I'm going to buy a Condo in Vegas for an incredible deal next year and it will probably go up 100% within 8 years, because they're extremely cheap right now. I wouldn't even be surprised with 200% in 10 years, because a $100,000 condo on the strip that used to sell for $400,000, yeah, not a stretch to say it could be back to $300K within a decade. Vegas in boom and bust, and I don't care about "consistent" prices, I like LOW prices when I buy, and HIGH when I sell
Jonathan, that's why jfk is here in the Las Vegas forum, BECAUSE he lives in NYS, lol.

Gotta cut him some slack, and plus he's very adorable btw...
