I'm not much of a drinker or gambler & some of my most memorable times on the strip have been walking to and from destinations. I think I'll be doing more of that when I move down.

What's the most interesting person/thing you've witnessed on the streets of the Strip?

My personal favorite is watching the touristy girls that are going clubbing, shoeless because their feet hurt so badly. Or, just watching them trying to walk without falling. I call it the quasi-modo walk because they're in so much pain, they're hunched over like the humpback of Notre Dame. DUH! Stilettos do not work in Vegas, unless you're taking a taxi cab.

4th of July weekend, some friends from back home came to visit me. I took them to Diablo's at Monte Carlo (great place for people watching).

We noticed a guy sitting by himself couple tables over, in a FULL hospital gown, ass hangin out, with some kind of 'elephantitis'? on both feet. He was eating sugar and nutri-sweet packets. No joke.

We kinda felt bad for him actually, especially when he was escorted out by 10 Monte Carlo guards.

Lots of strange things, but this one comes to mind first.

one time [way back in prehistoric times (1970 or so )] I was driving down the strip on a hot summer day....a sweet young flower child decided she was also hot....and removed her dress and went wading in the Circus Circus fountains.

I like to people watch at the airport.

If we have to go fetch a visitor to our home from the airport, I'll leave an extra 40 minutes or so early. I get a mocha latte at the Starbucks, go plop myself down on a chair facing the path my visitors have to eventually come from, and I watch plane load after plane load of people pass me by.

I like the ones who are obviously hung over or are running to catch their flight (just couldn't pull themselves away).
