Hi,

Actually this is for anyone who can provide some information.
I know the senior members here can be of great help to me. I would deeply appreciate any info you can give.
I am interested in rental communities for 55+ that are single story. Mainly in the Henderson, Green Valley and Summerlin area. I am not old, old
but just want a quiet community.
Also what are the top apartment/townhouse/condo rental finding service providers in Vegas? I would like to have them do the searching and save me the leg work when I come to Vegas to start my relocation process. Of course I will see the properties before making a decision.

What size unit are you looking for? Price range? Do you want an apartment / condo or a do you want to rent a house?

Yeah you need to say more. The best senior stuff is the Sun Cities and such. Summerlin, Anthem, Solara, McDonald Ranch. Start around $900 or so for a small attached. Goes up to 2500 for a 3BR with a view.

These will generally be found through an RE Agent.

There are numerous 55+ apartments that get down to about $600. Few though in your target areas.

Around the 900.00 range
2 beds
It does not matter if it is a apt. or condo. Just as long as it it single story.
I would feel more secure renting in a apartment. If you rent a condo or houses and someone buys them do you have to move out? I am older and would like to stay put for a long time once I move in.

Thanks for responding. A lot goes into relocating, I am just in the beginning stages of relocating and there is so much involved . But, once the weather breaks here in the east, I am out of here.

I am very familiar with those area's. I can handle the lower prices. But 2500 . Thanks, I will check on line for some RE Agents. It is very nice to come to this forum and get help from people who actually live there. Vegas is a tricky city to rent in. It looks good on line, gated community and etc. but, once you see with your own eyes. It is not the same. That is why I am checking all my options before I travel and make a decision.

Try realtor.com and select "rentals" and list your requirements. You'll be able to contact the realtor associated with the listings you find. Sun City Anthem, Solara, Anthem Highlands are in 89044 or 89052.

I am renting a one story, two bedroom SF home in the 89052 area for under $1400. I had the "will not sell for the duration of lease" statement added to my lease. There are SF homes available for rent but they are not easy to find. I hope everything works out for you.

Thank you very much for responding.
I am adding all these possibilities to my folder for future references. I know there is a big turn over in the Henderson area and things change quickly. I will start contacting resources when I get ready to relocate in about 8 weeks.

This forum is a great help for out of towner's.

Thank you
