Anyone have any input on the quality of
life at the Boca Raton Condo? I know they
have sold I believe less than half the units &
are now leasing the others, so that leaves
lots of questions also-but there are some
"great" deals there & they look quite nice

I'm writing this from inside my condo at Boca Raton. I love this place. Nice staff too. I don't mind the renters because the place is still very well maintained and very quiet. We got a great deal too, so it feels like we're stealing

Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.

Sounds nice, what would say are the negatives? How are the neighbors?

Every neighbor I've met has been very friendly. I can't tell which ones are renters or which are owners. We've never had any problems.

Negatives:
1) The rent situation is a negative in terms of long term appreciation unless they later decide to sell all the units when the economy recovers (no telling if/when that will happen). But I guess that's the reason for these ridiculously low prices in the first place, right? There's NO WAY they built our unit for less than what we paid for it.

2) The place can often feel kind of empty since many of the owners are part-timers who use it as a vacation home. Some people don't like that, but we think it keeps the place more Serene -- pun intended! :-)

3. The included limo service does not include return trips, just outbound rides to the strip, downtown, airport, whatever.

4. HOA fees are lot higher than many places we're used to, but they do include a lot of nice amenities. Fees start at $353/mo.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions. (just click on my name)

How long have you lived here? The HOA is $353 plus?

Default Boca Raton

We are looking to buy a unit there. Do the HOA fees go up on a regular basis. That is my major concern about buying in a condo is the reserve funds that the HOA has. It looks like a beautiful place and I love the guarded security. Does anyone live there full time that owns there unit?
