An out of town friend is going to have her bachelorette party in Las Vegas. I would like to line up a 2 bedroom suite or or maybe a condo for rent on the strip.
Any advice on who has the best prices?
They are all under 25 so a car rental is out of the question so I'm looking for a good place that is walking distance to everything.
She really liked Fremont Street so that area would be okay, though there is not much to walk to from there.

It's a few months away so I have time to plan, I just really want to find something special without breaking the bank!
Thanks!

The fact that you have time to plan is great. Just like plane tickets it saves money to book in advance. Price is relative though, so what might break one person's bank might not break the next person's.

You need to look around yourself to check rates on a specific day.

Make sure you want to stay downtown. Nothing worse than staying in a place you don't want to really be in.

You said you want to be close to everything and of course downtown you won't be walking the strip without first taking a shuttle.

I will tell you some hotels that just got remodeled. They only remodel a portion of the rooms at a time so be sure to ask if the rates you are getting are for remodeled rooms.

That being said there is no other place to stay downtown other than the Golden Nugget. It's not a bargain, but compared to the strip it is not bad. I believe they recently just remolded. Great Ambiance and nice hotels at what I think is a pretty good bargain.

Also look at El Cortez Cabanna Suites. Newly remodeled. Young hip crowd.

Best rates downtown you would want to look at Main Street Station, and Golden Gate.

On the strip, stay clear of Sahara and Strato. They are dumps in bad part of town.

Do look at Mirage, Tropicana(newly remodeled), Imperial Palace, Hooters if you don't mind staying at Hooters.

Take a peeks at Rio, this is off the strip but has shuttles. It's walking distance to the strip anyhow but the shuttle is fast. At the RIO you could potentially head over to the palms for clubbing or anywhere else for that matter.

Other than that just compare prices. Circus circus and the Riv are also ones I'd steer clear of.

I know my clients usually hold meetings in the 2 bedroom/2bath suite at the Mirage sometimes and they have paid about $500/night plus tax. Not bad if you have enough people sharing one suite, but the bedding type will probably determine that as well.

try looking at ebay for Wyndham Las Vegas. It's off the strip but across from Hard Rock Hotel, there is a shuttle that goes to Harrah's too. It's all suites with bedrooms/living room and kitchen, which is nice to save money if you can make your own food and such (and pre party as well!) I really love this place, it has 3 nice pools and 2 hot tubs (since you are probably going when the weather is warmer). There isn't a casino though so if that's something you want, this place isn't for you. It is really nice to stay on the strip too but if you wanna save money and have LOTS of room for you and the girls, I'd check it out. It's a quiet place to come back after a long day/night of partying on the strip... Have fun!
