What for you need corporate front?
According to our accountant an LLC or similar is not appropriate until you got gross receipts of $100K or so.
So you don't bother unless you have liability worries. If you are worried about liability you are doing the wrong sort of consulting...

An LLC is easy to set up - go the the Secretary of State's website, I'm sure they have the info.
