I am looking for a reliable A/C company. I have some odd requests, and I know a lot of business owners read the forum, so I figured maybe one of them owned or used a great A/C service.

I have ferrets, and they are very heat sensitive. Because of this, I am anal about the A/C. Once the A/C breaker tripped, and the heat killed one of my ferrets. I now have a window unit in their room to help combat this. I am looking for someone to check out the central A/C and window unit in March and hopefully find out why the breaker trips. Sometimes if I turn on the light in the ferret room while the A/C is running, the breaker trips.

These ferrets are my whole world, and I take the air conditioner situation very seriously, so I'm looking for someone who really knows what they're doing.

I have used 702 AC with good results. They were very prompt and one of the only companies that would come out the same day I called during the heat wave this summer. http://www.702ac.com/

I think we used Comfort Masters. Olecapt can verify the name. Their service was excellent!

it REALLY isn't a biggie unless you have heat sensitive pet weasels...

Our AC died a few years ago at a time when we were financially ebarassed...we thru in a couple of window units and lived quite comfortably for almost a year

I had a good experience with Chazell A/C and heating. I had them replace a heat pump and two air handlers a few years back, because I wanted higher efficiency units than the 20+year old units that came with the house. I just looked up their BBB report, is says zero complains in the last three years.

These are great responses, everyone. Thanks. I get mental about the ferrets, mainly because I've had the trauma of losing one to heat already, so I definitely want to go with someone who's dealt with a lot of A/Cs.
