Looking at getting a pad poured to park our RV and an enclosed trailer on. Anyone have any suggestionbs as far as a good contractor to do the work. Looking at somethign along the lines of 30x50ish...

No HOA we bought a house in the far NW specifically to avoid HOA's. I dont want to spend $500K on a house and them spend another $100-200 a month just so some busy bodies can tell me what I can and cannot do with my own home. But thanks for asking

What is the Review Journal? I am not yet living in Vegas, but my wife is. I will be moving out ther ein June/July sometime. Trying to get some of this stuff rolling or done before I make it out there and we officially move in.

There are many competent concrete contractors in the area, and you should be able to negotiate a very good deal, for example see RESIDENTIAL CONCRETE

What year is your 'cuda, by the way? Once you live here, definitely bring it down to Henderson on Saturday mornings for "Cars and Coffee" Cars and Coffee™ Las Vegas

One other thing unrelated to concrete.

Make sure you go over your closing statement with a fine toothed comb. A couple months ago, we found numerous mistakes the escrow company made -- most not in our favor, a few in our favor (me & my big mouth).

Good luck!

Thanks for the information. Will check them out. We juts want to find someone competent to do a good job. This is not anything specatular just your basic concrete pad. I did flatwork in college, sure is hard work.

On the Cuda just a name I chose that I use elsewhere. It WAS a 72 with a blown 500" Wedge motor. Still have one but it is a 68 and a racecar. We do have other toys though and would love to hear more about this cruise deal.

Oh here is a pic of the 68 Hope you like...
