It's been nearly 4 years since my last burger but someone got very smart and opened a 5 guys in Henderson. Needless to say, I was one of the first in line this morning at 11 to get a little bacon cheesburger and the fries with malt vinegar Just blows away In-N-Out IMO.

Anyway, for those of you that want to get one the address is:
10271 S. Eastern Avenue

From 215 go south on Eastern towards Anthem, cross St. Rose Parkway and make a right into the Siena Pavillion shopping complex where Buffalo Wild Wings are located.

Five Guys is good but a notch below Steak 'n Shake (in the South Point), in my opinion. Not everyone will agree, but that's what makes the burger world go 'round.

It's a burger and fries joint. It's not as good as the hype, but I'd recommend that you try it once. For someone like yourself (who monitors expenses carefully), you will find it over-priced. That said, give it a shot!

They have a website; probably just fiveguys.com but I'm not sure.

Five Guys is the worth it in my book. Much better than the other chains mentioned here.

The good thing is whatever your preference, we have just about all the best chains here in Vegas (exception being Whataburger).

5 Guys
Steak and Shake
Tommy's
In-N-Out
Fuddrucker's

The first 2 listed just opened within the last few months so at least for me I can jump around to chains that I've eaten in cities where I've lived in the past.

For those of you who haven't been to a 5 Guys, take this advice. GO SMALL. The little burger is plenty and they will overflow your pouch with fries so you don't have to order a large fries.

For me In-N-Out beats 5 Guys for both burgers and price. I haven't tried Steak and Shake, so it has been added to my list of fast food places to try!

*edit* My GF informs me that we never made it to 5 guys and ended up at Tony's Burgers instead. I hated Tony's.... not 5 Guys. LOL, going to have to really try it out now.

There's one scheduled to open off of 215 & Rainbow soon, too, which will be very convenenient for me.
