Hi all,

We'll be moving out to Vegas at the end of the month, and will need to buy some new furniture (yeah!). Does anyone know if there's a decent, reasonable furniture store in the area comparable to Bob's Discount Furniture up here in the NY, NJ, CT tri-state area?

Thanks,
Pam

Not familair with Bob's, but probably Walker Furniture is comparable. There are stores with better furniture though. RC Willey is a step up, then there's Nest Featherings, Macy's Homestore, Bloomingdales Homestore, Jacques Penée (JC Penny Home), etc., etc.

For a more contemporary style, I suggest EQ3 and West Elm. Not a discount furniture store but nice quality furniture.

if you're lucky, you might get here in time for the Robb and Stucky liquidation (bankruptcy + closing).

Walker Furniture or Ashley Furniture 2 large stores right next to each other. Walker does do a tent sale now & then. What you see is what you get. I've used Walker 3 times since moving here from NY. Always delivers on time.
