Doubt it. And that is irreleveant.

Three miles is a very long way in an urban environment.

There are a set of very nice homes in 89102. There are a set of nice middle class houses in 89102.

They are not brand new...but still very nice.

I'd post a link if I could figure out how, but the house is at 1417 Bryn Mawr Ave.

Perhaps someone can tell me, does the term "Status: Contingent Offer" mean there is already an offer on the house?

Yes...they have accepted an offer subject to a contingency. The normal ones are short sale approval if it is a short or inspections if it is not.

Explain to me, how I suffer from this condition you speak of, when all I do is tell the truth?

Take a hike, loser.

If it were me, I'd try not to consider ANY home to be a dream home.

How long will you be here for your house hunting trip? As you know, all real estate is local, and it is hard to beat working with a reputable & knowledgeable real estate agent. I'd work with one remotely & try to have appointments arranged for a dozen or so homes for early after arriving. After that, you will probably have a good idea of what's available in the style & price range you want. After that, you're like a kid in a candy store.

I've been in contact with a realtor in Vegas, but I'm wondering if I should move on and find another. I found an agent online, emailed him, and he quickly called us back and we had a 30 minute conversation about what we're looking for, amenities, budget, etc. This was last Monday. Since that time I've emailed him twice and left him a voicemail, none of which have been returned. Would you move on and find another agent or give him the benefit of the doubt? Perhaps he's busy, perhaps he feels our budget isn't worth his time, I'm not sure.
