So there are plenty of posts about where to meet singles in Vegas, but what about us poor baby boomers?

When your starting over again, you're now divorced, maybe have kids, tired of the cold and decided its time for a reboot.

Where do you meet THOSE people?

Tao? GhostBar? Uhh I dont think so!

Jonathan

Rampart Casino.

Oh, sorry. I misread the headline on your post. I thought it said 150+.

Jonathan, the two single guys I know (one is 45 and the other is 51) use those internet websites to meet local ladies. E Harmony and another site, I forget what the name of it is. The 45 year old has been dating a lady he met on there for about 4 months now, so who knows.

Trying to frequent the tourist traps and high-end nightclubs and then deciding who is a local and who is a tourist is time consuming and those places don't attract the baby boomer crowd anyways.

At least with the internet dating sites, you can be very local, very specific in the type of person you're looking for and you can meet at public places locally, away from the tourist areas.

There are a million local (non-strip) bars. That might be a place to start. Also, develop a hobby that tends to attract women of the age you're looking for.

Go to Meetup.com and find groups that have similar interests.
Younger people go to bars. Mature people go to meetings.
I met some great LV local people that way.

Hey now! Older people need love too. It's not all about the 20 somethings at the 'clubs'.

Las Vegas is hands down the happiest hunting grounds I have ever seen. There are people everywhere in our age group out and about. And no, they aren't at the senior center or taking knitting classes.

My best spots are neighborhood bars and locals casinos. The smaller places are better. Live music and believe it or not, there are still some flat out beautiful women in our age group. Last week, I met a retired stripper who was gorgeous and she had some great stories to tell. She's looking for a second date too! Vegas is loaded with 'older' women who aren't sporting the 'grandmagaveup' look.

I think you just haven't spent enough time here yet. I know you travel a lot and you're busy. So just get out there!

I have met some of the most interesting people here. Attitude is everything and remember, no one here is what they do for a living. I know a history professor who is a bartender and a journalist who is in a band. You can't judge the books by their covers in Las Vegas.
