My Washing machine has gone fritz!
anyone know of someone who can fix it?

I looked in the yellow pages and most of the ad's take you to service magic.
(and forget Craigslist on this one)

Help!?

You can probably fix it yourself. A lot of the info on appliance repair is on the net for free and parts are readily available for most brands.

Good luck,
Croce

Just below your post is an ad for various washing machine repairs. We usually call Sears. It might depend on the brand though. RC Willey might be a good one to call too.

When you write "yellow pages", do you mean the online version? Do you have a copy of the physical (Embarq?) Yellow Pages?

Years ago when I had a Maytag washer I found a guy in the appliance repair section of the phone book, and he replaced the actuator for about $60 and the washer was fine after that. Unfortunately, I would not recognize the ad if I saw it again.

kenmore, double agitator <?>
came with the house, but I would assume its about 2 years old.

i have to 'kick' it to start it on any cycle.
actually sometimes is quite fun, but I figure before I get arrested
for domestic appliance abuse, I should get it repaired

Buy a front load set from hd or lowes. About a grand. With the swgas and nvenergy rebates and then the usage savings pays for itself in a year

Don't bother fixing it...just get yourself a wife that will wash your clothes by hand with a washboard and soap.
