1948? Cinder block? What was it, one of those old Homestead deals? And it's still standing? There were a lot of homestead claims around the Valley in the 60's. Some people got rich on them, but I think most had been abandoned by then.

Actuallly reasonably nice. 1500sf with a full basement. Well maintained.

I will have to check on the homestead. but I think not. Probably a just after the war subdivision.

How close to Charleston is it? There couldn't have been any paved roads in that area in 1948 except possibly Charleston which is the original "Blue Diamond Rd."

Sounds like people who move next to the airport and then sue because the planes make too much noise.
