Maybe you don't want to carry your social security card around with you when go about your daily routine business; but if you go to a Casino to gamble and hope to win a big jackpot (which I would assume everyone who goes does), it might not be a bad idea to have it with you.

They suggest to not do that because if you get robbed, they get your SS#. Which can result in identity theft among other things.

Could you please send me a picture of yourself? I'd like to post it up at the casino so that the cashiers can be nasty and slow (like some are, and they don't deserve tipping), and God Forbid, if you won a jackpot, the machine could spit out a ticket which you could take to a Kiosk and figure out your own tax obligations and laws, fill out your W2G's after entering all your ID and SS # info, then take the ticket to the nasty slow cashier after waiting in her long line, and get your money yourself! And don't even ask a slot attendant to go find you a waitress...get your lazy butt up and walk up to the bar, or if you must drool over the poor girls breasts just so her kids have a roof over their heads, go find her yourself.

Oh and the dealer 'giving you a good hand' had as much to do with your cards as the slot attendant does with your machine hitting a jackpot.

So, your answer to tipping is...?

Not that I agree with the person you quoted, just curious as to your opinion.

to needaplace..... I see why you "need a place" your so negative that no one wants you around. I suggest you try doing some of these peoples jobs before you start complaining. You have no idea what poise and patients it takes to work at a casino and put up with people like you.

Thank you Casino gamer for sticking up for us!!

I work as a slot attendant at a casino and we too share our tips. It may not seem like it to patrons but sharing our tips actually works out better for us. If I'm having a slow night and not getting tipped, but the night crew goes crazy they help me out. It all equals out and the end of your 80 hours. Also if we want to leave early you don't really lose out as much pay as if you were dependant on your own tips. All tips are devided between hours worked as a department. Therefore the fewer the hours worked the bigger your tips!

A simple tip. If they take up space, even trancendentally, tip them. If they don't, allign your chakras, open your third eye, chant Om, and wait for that cute waitress wearing a thong to bring you another drink.

Mine was in my wallet since I was 15 years old, and I laminated it not long after that. Then not long ago I succumbed to my wife telling me I shouldn't carry it, so I took it out of my wallet. Now I don't even know where I put it.

At ESD (JobConnect) we made people show it to prove they could legally work in the U.S. People argued to no avail it wasn't to be used for ID purposes. Now with phone claims they decided to risk a little fraud for convenience and speed.

My dad's was a metal replica. Times have changed and everybody has gotten more anal.
