Location is perfect Maybe check them out?

Right next to 215 beltway, hence Xit. Not many people bought into the community so now they are leasing the lofts. I've taken so many photos on this place a few years back. Not much landscaping around the property but the location is still convenient to shopping and some dining areas. Of course it is in Spring Valley.

It would make more sense to just move to another part of Texas. If you are having problems with employment in Houston, I don't know why you think it would be easier (or even around the same) to find employment in Las Vegas at this time.
Sounds like you want a change of scenery, but are not thinking logically.

Yes and no. You make a good point, but there's more to the story.

Yes, I want the change of scenery and lived in Phoenix for four years - I miss the desert. With that said, I don't expect the employment picture to be better in Las Vegas, but it's a different economy and I think there might be more for me there.

Sure, I could move to another part of Texas and see what happens, but if I am going to relocate to another area anyway, why not back to the desert?

What do you think the logical answer is?

Secure a job first, then move here.

That makes sense, actually - is it hard to get a job without a local address? I'd imagine they have this image of you looking to move to a party-atmosphere instead of taking the job hunt seriously.

you must also understand that getting a job here for 16. an hour with no juice and no casino experience is unlikely.

how are you figuring the 1400.
15 hrs x 16 an hr = 960 a month
more realistically...
15 hrs x 10 an hr = 600 a month
